The Van Cleef Engineering Associates Survey Division has extensive experience in performing private land surveys, title surveys and major boundary surveys for private clientele, local municipalities, county government, as well as state and federal governments. Many of these surveys include determination of existing boundaries and street rights-of-way, preparation of right-of-way acquisition plans, preparation of metes and bounds descriptions, setting of street right-of-way monumentation and researching deeds of record as well as road books to determine the historical nature of the particular street in concern. The majority of survey work performed for public sector projects includes the preparation of maps that are to be utilized for future engineering design. Our GPS Surveying capabilities allow us to utilize navigational satellites, through the use of Trimble Navigation dual frequency 4000SSI receivers, Trimble Pro XL Pathfinders and RTK Real Time Kinematics receivers, to prepare topographic, as-built, location, road cross sections and boundary surveys when site conditions warrant the use of satellite equipment.
